Google, in an unexpected turn of events, labeled my site as inappropriate for monetization, claiming it hosts pornographic content. This accusation couldn’t be further from the truth. My coverage on adult-themed games always stays within the bounds of decency, avoiding explicit imagery and language. Yet, it seems even a nuanced exploration of mature themes is enough to land on Google’s blacklist, which has been a frustrating hurdle.

The inception of Gaming Smut was driven by two passions: my love for writing and my enthusiasm for mature-themed games. The reality check from Google, however, casts a shadow over the feasibility of sustaining this venture. With monetization off the table, my budget for game purchases and site maintenance is constrained, directly impacting my ability to support indie developers and produce content.
